Vladimir Putin's evil forces have allegedly executed four Ukrainian prisoners of war during an Easter truce , which Russian troops have been accused of breaking thousands of times over a weekend. The Kremlin promised to temporarily pause fighting it's illegal invasion for 32 hours over the Orthodox Easter weekend. Ukraine's military, on Sunday, accused Putin's forces of committing 2,299 violations since the temporary ceasefire started, at 6pm local time on Saturday. Kyiv also claimed cold-blooded Russian soldiers executed four Ukrainian prisoners near Veterynarne, Kharkiv, on Saturday. The shocking alleged killing of four Ukrainian prisoners allegedly happened just an hour and a half into the Easter truce , according to local reports. Evil despot Putin fired drones at Dnipropetrovsk, Donetsk and Zaporizhzhia within the short Easter truce, the Ukrainian army claimed. Kyiv's forces also alleged more ceasefire violations included 479 enemy shellings, 747 drone attacks, 1,045 FPV drone strikes and 28 enemy assault actions. Officials however added that Russian forces did not use bombs or missiles in their apparent break of the ceasefire. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky describes Saturday as an opportunity for the Russian dictator to respect a pause in fighting and work towards peace. Elsewhere in Ukraine, border officials said Russian troops "treacherously attacked an ambulance" in the city of Sumy, in northeastern Ukraine. Three male medics, aged 25, 52 and 57, were reportedly injured in the attack. Officials in Kyiv vowed to respond to peace with peace but said they were also ready to hit back at Russia if it attacked Ukraine first. Russia similarly hit back at Ukraine and claimed it launched 2,000 attacks during the truce, but did not discuss their own truce violations. It also claimed that attempts by Ukrainian troops to advance in Sumy and Donetsk were "thwarted". After the ceasefire came to an end, Zelensky called on Putin to pause the fighting for a few more days to work towards bringing an end to the deadly and illegal invasion. He said: "It would be right for the ceasefire to continue. We have made this offer to Russia, and if Russia again chooses war over peace, this will once again demonstrate to the world , and in particular to the United States, who really wants what." Zelensky added: "If there are no Russian strikes, there will be no responses from us. We remember what happened in similar situations before, and we clearly know who we are dealing with. "If there are no Russian missiles, no Russian drones, we will also maintain silence in the sky. The task for the front is similar. But every Ukrainian unit has the right to respond."
