Precise wins Coronation Stakes at Ascot for O'BrienImage source, PA MediaImage caption, Ryan Moore is closing in on 100 wins at Royal Ascot Published6 minutes agoOdds-on favourite Precise powered away to win the Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot and continue a fabulous week for trainer Aidan O'Brien.O'Brien moved past 100 career wins at the festival this week and delivered another victory with 8-13 favourite Precise looking a class above to beat Touleen and another O'Brien horse True Love.Jockey Ryan Moore was on board and now totals 97 Royal Ascot winners himself.He told ITV Sport: "I just let her get into a rhythm and kept her going forward, we knew she'd stay well."Aidan's horses always run right to the line. She's a high-class filly."King Charles III presented the trophy for the race which was first run in 1840 to mark the coronation of Queen Victoria.Earlier, the Commonwealth Cup was won by 11-8 favourite Venetian Sun who saw off Division and 50-1 shot Spicy Marg.Venetian Sun won at Ascot last year in the Albany Stakes and justified her backing with a strong finish to triumph again."We'd probably prefer a bit of cut in the ground but she can race on all grounds and this is amazing," said Brighton & Hove Albion chairman Tony Bloom, who part-owns the horse."It was a tough race but she was tough enough in the end and the great racehorses do win these difficult finishes when it's close."Related topicsHorse RacingMore on this storyLatest horse racing results
