PMDC refers suicide, misconduct cases
After preliminary hearings into three different cases involving the suicide of medical students and violation of the doctors' code, the Pakistan Medical and Dental Council (PMDC) referred the cases to its disciplinary committee on Monday. The PMDC disciplinary committee will take up the cases next week and decide the fate of the people and institutions facing allegations of harassment or negligence. PMDC President Prof Dr Rizwan Taj presided over the hearing along with registrar Dr Rehan Naqvi. The president said the council will ensure that strict actions will be taken against any individual or institution found responsible for negligence, misconduct, or violation of student protection policies.المصدر: Express Tribune | Source: Express Tribune
