Emergency services, including paramedics, went to the scene and the boy was taken to hospital, but he sadly died later in the evening.A police cordon is in place at the Orton Centre as officers carry out an investigation, Cambridgeshire Live reports.A statement from police read: "Four people have been arrested following the fatal stabbing of a 16-year-old boy in Peterborough. Police were called at just before 7pm yesterday ( Sunday 12 April) to a report the teenager had been attacked in Riseholme, near the Orton Centre."Emergency services, including paramedics, went to the scene and the boy was taken to hospital, but he died later in the evening. Detectives are treating the boy’s death as murder and two people from Peterborough – a 15-year-old boy and an 18-year-old man – are under arrest on suspicion of murder,."A 17-year-old girl from Peterborough has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and a 16-year-old girl from March has been arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and possession of a bladed article.
