قال وزير الشؤون الاقتصادية والتنمية، عبد الله سليمان الشيخ سيديا، إن تأثير أزمة ارتفاع أسعار النفط على الميزانية ألزم الحكومة بدعم أسعار المحروقات بـ168 مليار أوقية، مشيرًا إلى أن استمرار الأسعار الحالية قد يؤدي إلى وصول العجز في الميزانية الأصلية إلى سبعة في المائة.

وأضاف الوزير في مؤتمر صحفي طارئ للحكومة، أن موريتانيا تمتلك القدرة على مواجهة ارتفاع أسعار النفط بفضل سياسة الحكومة، وأن الوضعية الحرجة يجب التعامل معها بحصافة وطبقًا لتعليمات الرئيس للحد من تداعياتها على المواطنين.

وأشار ولد الشيخ سيديا، إلى أن ارتفاع أسعار النفط يؤثر على مداخيل الدولة ومستوى النشاط الاقتصادي، موضحًا أن الحكومة تعمل على مواجهة هذه الوضعية.

وأكد الوزير أن كل المواد الأساسية متوفرة، وأن المخزون يكفي لأشهر متعددة، بما في ذلك الأسمدة اللازمة لحملتين زراعيتين.

ولفت إلى أن الحالة الاقتصادية والتضخم لن تكون بمنأى عن ما يجري في أسواق النفط، مؤكدًا حرص الحكومة على متابعة الوضع واتخاذ الإجراءات اللازمة لضمان استقرار الأسواق وحماية المواطنين
