O'Sullivan beats Brecel to win Snooker 900 titleImage source, Getty ImagesImage caption, Ronnie O'Sullivan won the last of his seven world titles in 2022Published4 minutes agoRonnie O'Sullivan hit five centuries as he beat Luca Brecel 10-5 to win the Snooker 900 Global Championship final.The match was tied at 3-3 before seven-time world champion O'Sullivan took the final three frames of the afternoon session to lead 6-3.The 50-year-old also won the first two frames of evening session to move 8-3 in front before Brecel - the 2023 world champion - took the next frame after he had ball-in-hand after an O'Sullivan foul. Brecel got it to 8-5 before O'Sullivan knocked in a century and won the next frame to secure another tournament victory on the back of winning the World Seniors Snooker Championship last week.Snooker 900 events involve playing frames to a 15-minute (900 seconds) time limit, a 20-second shot clock and a ball in hand rule when a foul is conceded."I love this format.
