Belgium international Diego Moreira has joined Milan from RC Strasbourg with a contract to 2031, with reports the total cost is €65m including various add-ons.
The deal was negotiated by Portuguese agent Jorge Mendes, who had also engineered the swoop for Paris Saint-Germain striker Goncalo Ramos earlier this summer.

Much like that agreement, there are some very different reports on the precise costs and even formula of this transfer.
Moreira is a new Milan player

Sky Sport Italia believe it is a fixed fee of €45m plus up to €20m more in various add-ons, some of them more difficult to activate than others.
Sky Sports Deutschland have a €54m fixed fee plus €11m in bonus payments, while Fabrizio Romano has it at €50m plus add-ons and a sell-on clause too.
L’Equipe believe the cost is €50m plus €10m in add-ons, and a percentage of the future sale, but some sources maintain the eventual value could hit €70m.
The winger just turned 22 earlier this month and had also been in advanced negotiations with RB Leipzig before Milan dived in with an agreement.
Moreira arrived in Italy on Tuesday and underwent medical tests, but only signed the contract this evening.
He will wear the Number 22 jersey.
He had spent time at Standard Liege, Benfica and Olympique Lyonnais, until Chelsea sold him to their sister club RC Strasbourg for €8.5m in 2024.
