NFL owners vote to expand to double-digit international games in 2027

ORLANDO, Fla. — The NFL, already with a record-setting nine international games on the schedule for the 2026 season, is set to further grow its presence around the globe in 2027.NFL owners on Tuesday approved a measure to increase the number of league-run regular-season international games to 10 each year, starting in the 2027 season. Any increase beyond 10 international games would require further negotiations between the NFL and the NFLPA. (Technically, there could be 11 international games in 2027, with the Jacksonville Jaguars playing in London. But the Jaguars negotiate and operate their London games as the home team.)Advertisement
