"I want to compete [with] and play for the best teams," Thomas said. "Team culture is really important to me and I think I bring some good attributes to help push standards."Newcastle finished sixth in WSL 2 last season after failing to win any of their final six games.This summer leading scorer Emily Murphy has left for Brighton, but Newcastle have signed nine players."Martha is a proven striker both in the WSL and internationally," manager Tanya Oxtoby said."She is a physical striker and adds outstanding work-rate to the squad.
