Mr Darcy's daring 'wet shirt' to make another splash… this time in Edinburgh

The Oscar-winning actor wore the shirt while playing the character in the BBC’s 1995 adaptation of the Jane Austen novel. It featured in the lake scene that transformed Firth into an international sex symbol and was later voted the UK’s most memorable television drama moment. Dovecot director Celia Joicey said: ‘As one of television’s most recognisable outfits, it adds an exciting new dimension to Costume Couture: Sixty Years of Cosprop, celebrating the legacy of costume design on screen as part of the festival season.’
