Moylan called into much-changed Republic of Ireland squadImage source, InphoImage caption, Jack Moylan with the match ball after the Republic of Ireland's win over GrenadaPublished5 minutes agoLincoln City's Jack Moylan has been called into the Republic of Ireland squad for Thursday's friendly international against Qatar at the Aviva Stadium.The former Shelbourne player scored a hat-trick on his debut in a 5-0 win over Grenada in Murcia earlier this month.Republic manager Heimir Hallgrimsson issued an updated squad list on Monday following a series of withdrawals.His side will also face World Cup co-hosts Canada at Stade Sapoto in Montreal on Friday, 5 June.Middlesbrough players Alan Browne and Alex Gilbert have been ruled out through injury, while Southampton pair Finn Azaz and Ryan Manning have also been forced to withdraw.Strasbourg defender Andrew Omobamidele will miss the games because of injury.To manage the squad across the two fixtures in Dublin and Montreal, several players have been added to the group with specific availability.Defender Dara O'Shea and midfielder Moylan return to the squad for the home fixture with Qatar only. Goalkeeper Caoimhín Kelleher will also only be available for the first match of the two.Charlton Athletic midfielder Conor Coventry and Bohemians' Dawson Devoy will link up with the squad later this week specifically for the trip to Canada.Hibernian midfielder Jamie McGrath and Killian Phillips of St Mirren have been called up for the entire duration of the international window.Hibs striker Owen Elding will also remain with the squad for training purposes.
