After discovering £35,000 in a Sports Direct bag they searched an address linked to the suspect – which led to the discovery of millions of pounds in notes. Commander Paul Brogen described the cash seizure as 'one of the largest we've seen'. He added: 'This shows the impact proactive local policing can have in tackling serious and organised crime. 'This result is testament to the persistence and dedication of the officers involved.
