The car was linked to an attack three days earlier, where a construction worker was beaten with metal poles. Both his legs and his left arm were broken in the attack and he was taken to hospital for surgery. The attackers fled the scene in a white BMW, which police tracked to the Black Country Route from London on September 15. Body-worn footage showed the moment officers from West Midlands Police caught up with the vehicle. Two police cars blocked it off and armed officers surrounded the BMW. One officer yelled: 'Get out of the car, now. Show me your hands.' As the occupants refused to leave the car, officers smashed the windows from both sides. DC Kyle Bowering, from our Major Crime Unit, said: 'This investigation has led to the recovery of a loaded gun, as well as swords, which would no doubt have gone on to be used in crime to harm and threaten others. 'These weapons have now been taken off the streets, and those caught with them have been put behind bars for a number of years.'المصدر: Daily Mail | Source: Daily Mail
