By WILKO MARTÍNEZ-CACHERO, US REPORTER Published: 18:35, 20 June 2026 | Updated: 18:55, 20 June 2026 The mother of the little girls who were confronted by an angry stranger after their father took them into a gas station women's restroom said the viral footage was destroying her, as she accused the girls' dad of exploiting them for attention and money. Oklahoma father Tyler Brodsky had stopped at a QuikTrip last weekend and taken his daughters into the restroom when a furious stranger confronted him in a video that has since gone viral. Zoe Lavely, the mother of the girls in Brodsky's viral video, said she did not 'love this outcome' and accused Brodsky of exploiting their daughters for cash. 'I see their dad approaching the man that scared my girls just for the video,' she wrote on Facebook, per comments picked up by TMZ. She added: 'I see my girls being capitalized for money. I see people offering money to a man that hasn't paid 1 penny to those girls just this year.' Lavely, who said she was the girls' custodial parent, wrote that she was 'heartbroken and overwhelmed,' though she acknowledged that Brodsky had 'handled the situation well.' 'Everytime [sic] I open my phone I see my 3 year old daughter in tears,' she wrote. 'It destroys me every single time.' Lavely insisted that she would 'never blast my children on social media' as she took aim at Brodsky. Tyler Brodsky went viral for a video that showed him and his two young daughters being confronted int he bathroom of a QuikTrip by an angry stranger 'It could have been a simple video explaining the situation without my kid's faces all over the place,' she wrote on Facebook. Lavely also suggested the entire interaction could 'have been an audio recording' instead. As of Saturday morning, her Facebook page did not appear to have public posts enabled. Zoe Lavely, the girls' mother, accused Brodsky of exploiting the video for money Brodsky told the Daily Mail via email on Saturday: 'I'm not going to get into a public back–and–forth with the mother of my children. My focus has always been, and will continue to be, our daughters.' He firmly rejected Lavely's claims that he was 'capitalizing off this situation' with their daughters. 'As for the financial accusations, those are simply not accurate,' Brodsky added. The father–of–two insisted that he would not discuss private family matters publicly 'because my daughters deserve better than that.' Brodsky said that he never expected the video to receive so much attention, but that he was trying to 'use it in a positive way by encouraging more family restrooms and advocating for parents with young children.' 'At the end of the day, I hope this conversation shifts away from conflict and toward making public places more accommodating for families,' he wrote. 'That's the outcome I'm hoping comes from all of this.' The man who was seen confronting the Oklahoma dad and his two daughters in the video has since been sacked from his job A female QuikTrip employee by the name of Melissa was seen assisting Brodsky and his two young daughters in the now-viral video The incident stemmed from when Brodsky had pulled into a QuikTrip convenience store in Alabama as he traveled back to Oklahoma from Florida over the weekend when he was confronted by an unknown man. Brodsky claimed on TikTok that he took his daughters into the empty women's restroom over the 'dirty' men's room. Moments later, an unknown man came 'barging' into the restroom and angrily demanded that Brodsky and his two daughters use the men's option instead. The man, who was on the phone with police, said: 'There is a man with his two little girls using the women's bathroom, he is washing his hands with his daughter right now.' One of Brodsky's daughters burst into tears as the man continued to lash out. 'He is taking his sweet time,' he said, claiming that his wife and 'very ill' mother–in–law had been waiting to use the facilities. As the video continued, a female QuikTrip worker in a red polo closed the door on the man and helped the two little girls dry their hands. 'There you go, sweetheart,' she said. The worker also apologized to Brodsky, telling him, 'I'm so sorry.' In a follow–up video, Brodsky claimed three police officers responded to the QuikTrip and told him he had done nothing wrong. 'They ended up showing up very quickly, very professional, very nice, quickly deescalated the situation,' he said. Even though the man in the viral altercation was fired from his job, he is not expected to face any legal repercussions for his role in the incident In a follow up video after his original video went viral, seen here, Brodsky said that three officers responded to the QuikTrip and told him he had done nothing wrong Brodsky also thanked the QuikTrip worker, whom he identified only as Melissa, saying: 'We really do appreciate your support and care that you showed us.' He added that his two daughters were given slushies by the QuikTrip workers before they hit the road again. Brodsky finished his video saying that the response to the video showed him that he was not the only one who had faced a similar situation. The irate man who yelled at Brodsky and his daughters in the shocking video has not been identified. However, he was fired from his job at Overstreet Properties, a Mississippi real estate firm, after the footage went viral. 'The conduct depicted in the video does not reflect the values of Overstreet Properties or the standards we expect of those who represent our organization,' the firm said. 'Our focus remains on providing quality service to our clients, partners, and community.' However, the man is not expected to be arrested or cited by police, according to Pell City police cited by TMZ. No one involved in the bathroom incident is expected to be in any legal trouble.
