Antalya 100. Yıl Okçuluk Tesisleri'ndeki organizasyonun ilk gününde, ekipman kontrolü ve resmi antrenman atışları gerçekleştirilecek. Milli takımı şampiyonada klasik ve makaralı yay kategorilerinde toplam 12 sporcu temsil edecek. Mete Gazoz, Almanya'nın Essen kentindeki son Avrupa Şampiyonası'nda erkekler klasik yay kategorisinde kazandığı altın madalyayla tarihe geçmişti. Milli sporcu; olimpiyat, dünya ve Avrupa şampiyonluklarını elinde bulunduran ilk okçu ünvanını almıştı.
