Milan have joined Roma in the race for Torino winger Alessio Cacciamani, with the 19-year-old’s future in Turin now looking increasingly uncertain.
According to Toro.it, via CalcioMercato, Roma sporting director Tony D’Amico and head coach Gian Piero Gasperini have tracked Cacciamani for some time, and had a €12m offer plus 10% of any future resale rejected by club president Urbano Cairo, who wants €20m for the academy product.
Roma are expected to return with an improved bid worth around €15m plus a sell-on clause by the end of the week, but Milan are now looking to gain an edge of their own.

Milan offer Cissè as a makeweight
To strengthen their position, Milan are prepared to use Alphadjo Cissè, a player Torino have already asked to take on loan, as a bargaining chip in the negotiations.
The Rossoneri have invested heavily in expensive foreign talent this summer, and see Cacciamani, a versatile wing-back capable of playing further forward, as a way to boost their pool of Italian-qualified players for squad-list purposes.
Cacciamani, who spent last season on loan at Juve Stabia, making 37 appearances with two goals and two assists, was called up by Italy Under-19 coach Enzo Baldini for a friendly against Greece in July.
With Torino signing Niccolò Fortini from Fiorentina to compete for his position, Cacciamani is keen to leave for regular first-team football rather than risk a year on the bench.
