"İsrail'in suç kaydı kabarık, temel insan hak ve özgürlüklerinden bihaber ve demokrasinin düşmanı olan başbakanı Netanyahu'nun Türkiye Cumhuriyeti Cumhurbaşkanı Sayın Recep Tayyip Erdoğan hakkında sarf ettiği seviyesiz ve küstah ifadeler, yalnızca bir siyasi hezeyanın değil, aynı zamanda ahlaki iflasın da tezahürüdür." değerlendirmesini yapan Bahçeli, şöyle devam etti: "Netanyahu'nun mesnetsizlik abidesi ifadelerini, dizginlerini yitirmiş bir suçluluk psikolojisinin, kan ve katliam üzerine kurduğu alçak siyasetinin ve köşeye sıkışmışlık korkusunun dışavurumu olarak değerlendirmeliyiz. Hakikatle bağı kopmuş, vicdan terazisi kırılmış, siyasi aklı esarete düşmüş bir zihnin ürünü olan bu çürük sözler, muhatabını değil, sahibinin içine düştüğü derin meşruiyet krizini gözler önüne sermektedir. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, kirli ağızların iftiralarıyla sarsılacak, ucuz propagandalarla yönü değiştirilecek bir devlet değildir. Bugün asıl konuşulması gereken, sözün değil, suçun sahibidir. Ona yöneltilen hayasız ve hadsiz dil, doğrudan doğruya Türk devletinin hükümranlık haklarına, Türk milletinin itibarına ve milli iradenin bizzat kendisine yöneltilmiştir. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti, tarihi, devlet aklı ve köklü medeniyet birikimiyle bu tür kirli senaryoların karşısında dimdik durmaya devam edecektir. Hiç kimse Türkiye'yi hedef alarak kendi suçlarını perdeleyemez, kendi karanlığını başkalarının üzerine yıkamaz. Türkiye'yi hedef alan bu saldırgan üslubun gerisinde, Siyonist terör örgütü elebaşının Türkiye'nin artan diplomatik ağırlığından, Sayın Cumhurbaşkanımızın mazlum coğrafyalar lehine yükselttiği hakikat sesinden ve Türkiye'nin milli birlik ekseninde güçlenen duruşundan duyduğu rahatsızlık vardır. Meselenin özü budur. Netanyahu'nun Cumhurbaşkanımıza dönük sözleri yok hükmündedir. Cumhurbaşkanımızın yanındayız. Devletimizin kudretine ve hürriyet üzerine inşa edilmiş duruşuna yönelen her sinsi ve hain operasyonun, tahriklerin, iftira ve tehditlerin ise karşısındayız."
