A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "Police responded at 05:14hrs on Wednesday, May 13 to reports that a man was causing damage to a police patrol base on Golders Green Road, NW11.
"Officers attended and arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of causing criminal damage. He remains in police custody."

He said: "We can and we will bring the full power of the state to bear on this."
The Prime Minister claimed British values are "earned each day", and the attack in Golders Green was "not Britain".
He added: "Antisemitism is an old, old hatrid, history shows the roots are deep, and if you turn away it grows back."
