McDonald's UK & Ireland is teaming up with Microsoft and Xbox for a limited-edition menu that lands in restaurants next Tuesday, August 25.
The collaboration draws inspiration from six gaming franchises — Halo: Campaign Evolved, Fallout 76, Forza Horizon 6, Overwatch, World of Warcraft and Candy Crush — turning iconic in-game food and drink into real-life menu items you can actually order.
The partnership extends beyond the food and into the McDonald's App, where customers can redeem exclusive in-game rewards and daily deals using their Reward points. It is part of its promotion campaign, Side Missions, where customers can win rewards for completing game-inspired challenges.
Six new items will join the menu. First up is the Black Pepper & Garlic McNuggets, inspired by the famous moa bird from the Halo universe. Available in portions of 6, 9 or 20, they're made from 100% chicken breast meat in a crispy coating with a peppery, garlicky kick, and come with a sweet & sour dip.
For World of Warcraft fans, the fast-food favourite has launched the Fiery Buffalo Dip — a creamy, tangy buffalo-style sauce with serious heat, perfect for dunking Chicken Selects.
Or, try the Blamco Cheesy Potato Bites that is straight out of Fallout 76. Think golden, crispy potato rings with a fluffy interior oozing melted cheese, served alongside ketchup.
Forza Horizon 6 brings the Sour Cherry Fizz, a refreshing McCafé drink blending Sprite Zero with sugar-free sour cherry syrup over ice, inspired by the game's Japanese cherry blossom setting.
For those with a sweet tooth, the Candy Crush Choco McFlurry combines soft dairy ice cream with chocolate-covered biscuit pieces and rich chocolate sauce, taking its cues from the game's iconic sweets.

Overwatch fans can grab the Sugar Donut — a soft ring donut dusted in sugar, paying tribute to character Kiriko's favourite snack, served in special limited-time themed packaging.
The theme continues through the McDonald's App, where players can spend Reward points on exclusive in-game goodies.
These include a car voucher for Forza Horizon 6, a Sugar Bomb Bundle in Fallout 76, the returning Red Hot Portable Bakery item in World of Warcraft, and character-themed items for Overwatch and Candy Crush.
All six items are available across McDonald's restaurants in the UK and Ireland starting next week, for a limited time only, and daily deals will also be on offer through the McDonald's App.
