The May bank holiday weekend has arrived, meaning plenty of people will be enjoying an extra day off work and school. However, while the long weekend provides an excellent opportunity to unwind and catch up with friends and family, it does mean certain shops will be shut. Unlike Christmas Day and Easter Sunday, shops aren't required by law to shut on bank holidays.
