The 22-year-old is currently enjoying a loan stint with Hull City in the Championship, having spent the first-half of the campaign on loan at West Brom.‌The defensive midfielder made his full debut for the Tigers on Monday night against tough opposition in Coventry City. Despite Hull sitting fifth in the table, some 16 points adrift of Frank Lampard's league leaders, they managed to hold Coventry to a goalless draw at the MKM Stadium.‌According to the Hull Daily Mail, Collyer produced an impressive full debut for the Tigers that evening. The publication wrote of the youngster, who they rated 8.5/10: "A first start for the on-loan Manchester United midfielder, and he started well, winning the ball early, and looking neat and tidy on the ball.‌"Probably City's best player in an absorbing first period and that continued in the second.
