Manchester United will allow as many as nine players to leave during the summer transfer window. Central midfield is where they want to make multiple signings to provide competition for their current options. Casemiro will also need to be replaced, as the Brazil international is due to leave at the end of this season when his contract expires. Jadon Sancho and Tyrell Malacia will both be on the way out, too, when their deals run out over the coming months. Napoli are also obliged to sign Rasmus Hojlund permanently for £38million if they qualify for the Champions League . Serie A's reigning champions need five more points from their remaining four games to confirm their spot in next season's league phase. Barcelona , however, have no obligation to sign Marcus Rashford permanently; only a £20million option. However, he could yet spend a second season on loan at the Catalan club next season. The Times claims Trabzonspor are also keen on keeping Andre Onana permanently beyond his current loan spell there. Altay Bayindir could be going back to Turkey, too, with the deputy goalkeeper free to leave. Joshua Zirkzee is another player United are open to letting go, with a return to Italy most likely. They will also be receptive to reasonable offers for Manuel Ugarte as the club look to refresh their midfield. Elliot Anderson is emerging as United's top target, but with Nottingham Forest reportedly seeking £120million, there are several other candidates. Adam Wharton, Aurelien Tchouameni, Carlos Baleba and Sandro Tonali are all under consideration. The club are also looking to sign a left winger, with Morgan Rogers and Yan Diomande reportedly on their radar. A back-up goalkeeper and striker would also be on the cards to replace Bayindir and Zirkzee. So, if all nine go, a new goalkeeper, midfielder and striker could sign, but there will seemingly not be any additions in defence. Michael Carrick has said: "It's not an area of concern for me at this moment in time. "At the moment and timing-wise, talking about the summer and what goes beyond that, it's difficult to elaborate on that really ... but no, I haven't got concerns. "I think we've got a mixed blend there of experience, of real quality and some young – I'd say more than talented really – two promising young players (Ayden Heaven and Leny Yoro) that have already shown what they can do. Carrick, again stressing his uncertainty about the future, concluded: "I haven't got concerns. What the future looks like, I can't really get involved, because I'm not sure myself what that looks like." FOLLOW OUR MAN UTD FB PAGE! Latest United news and more on our dedicated Facebook page
