Man kills 8 children, including 7 of his own, in Louisiana mass shooting, police say
Police in Shreveport, Louisiana, say Shamar Elkins killed eight children, seven of whom were his own kids, in a shooting early Sunday morning. The incident started as a domestic dispute and police say two women were also shot. Elkins was later killed in an exchange of gunfire with officers.
