Paramedics rushed to the airport around 8am following the incident.‌Photos taken at the scene depict ambulances and fire service response vehicles surrounding a Jet2 plane. The airline later confirmed that a 'full' investigation had been initiated. It is believed the man was a contractor working for Jet2 at the time.In a subsequent update, the Air Accident Investigations Branch (AAIB) confirmed that specialist investigators were sent to the scene and investigations commenced, reports the Manchester Evening News.‌A statement recently issued by the AAIB read: "On Saturday 11 April the AAIB were informed of an accident involving a person falling from an aircraft at Manchester Airport.
