Man, 67, is arrested 35 years after the death of 92-year-old pensioner after police launched murder probe

Bentley Mathias, 92, was believed to have suffered a brain haemorrhage when he died in Morriston Hospital in Swansea in 1991. His death was not treated as suspicious.  But new information led detectives to open an investigation into Mr Mathias's death more than three decades later. A 67-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday on suspicion of murder. Police have led investigations in the area surrounding the small village of Llandewi Velfrey in Pembrokeshire, home to only 400 people. The force said it was not looking for anyone else in relation to the matter. The man has been bailed while police continue with their inquiries. 'On Wednesday, July 22, officers arrested a 67-year-old man from the Llandewi Velfrey area of Pembrokeshire on suspicion of murder. 'He has been bailed while police continue with their inquiries.
