One lane is closed in both directions between junction 41 (Baglan) and junction 40 (Taibach) to allow emergency repairs to the barrier to take place. Congestion is building in both directions. There are long queues back to junction 42 at Swansea East and Britton Ferry. It comes after there was a crash in the area on Thursday afternoon. South Wales Police said the vehicle was "in the central reservation", causing delays in both directions.
