For much of her career, the icon would send new singles straight into the top 10, and she claims one of the largest accumulations of No. 1s of all time to this day. As is the case with all artists of any genre, that period in her career waned, and Madonna's last several albums have struggled to produce songs that land in any space on the Billboard Hot 100. Her most recent set, Madame X, became a rare miss, as none of the tunes pushed from the project carved out space on the chart, and it seemed to mark an end to her time landing on the list. Later this summer, the singer will release Confessions II, the follow-up to her Grammy-winning Confessions on a Dance Floor.
