Both are appealing the rulings. The disciplinary action is a result of a brawl that began in the fifth inning of the Braves’ 7-2 win over the Angels on Tuesday night. After López threw a pitch that sailed near the head of Soler, the Angels’ DH stared down the Braves’ right-hander and then charged the mound. The two exchanged haymakers, with López swinging with his right hand that still held the baseball.
