Looksmaxxing influencer Clavicular reaches deal in alligator shooting case18 minutes agoShareSaveAdd as preferred on GoogleNardine SaadVictor VIRGILE/Gamma-Rapho via Getty ImagesBraden Peters, whose online moniker is Clavicular, helped popularise so-called "looksmaxxing" contentThe controversial influencer known online as Clavicular has been sentenced to six months of probation in connection to an alleged alligator shooting during a livestream.Braden Eric Peters, 20, who popularised "looksmaxxing" content that chronicles the extreme measures he takes to enhance his looks, pleaded no contest in Florida court on Friday after being charged with unlawfully discharging a firearm at a wildlife sanctuary in March.Under the deal, the case can come off his record if he completes firearms and wildlife safety courses and 20 hours of community service that "cannot be streamed or monetised", officials said.His lawyer says Peters has "accepted responsibility for his conduct".In a statement to the BBC, his attorney Jeffrey Neiman said his client "reached a resolution that appropriately reflects the circumstances of this incident". "He is committed to moving forward responsibly and ensuring nothing like this occurs again," he said. "We appreciate the professionalism of the State and the Court in resolving this matter."Fellow social media personality Andrew Morales, known online as "The Cuban Tarzan", also pleaded no contest in connection to the apparent shooting and received a similar deal.A third person, Yabdiel Anibal Cotto Torres, who goes by "Baby Alien" online, was also charged in the case. Torres is scheduled to enter a plea on 20 May.The case stems from a 26 March incident that Clavicular captured during a video livestream.
