The Blues were thrashed 3-0 by City at Stamford Bridge on Sunday in a result which hurt their chances of qualifying for the Champions League.Fernandez has sat out of Chelsea's last two games as part of an internal punishment for comments he made during the international break. The Argentina international vocalised his love of Madrid and hinted at a possible move to Spain in the future.Rosenior said his captain had "crossed the line" and therefore decided to drop him for the 7-0 thrashing of Port Vale in the FA Cup, as well as the Premier League game against City. Fernandez wasn't missed against the League One strugglers, but Chelsea crumbled under intense pressure by City, who romped to victory in the second half.Asked if the decision to drop Fernandez harmed Chelsea's chances, Rosenior replied: "Possibly. Possibly, in hindsight, you see 20-20 in hindsight. Enzo's a top player and he's a top character and I'm looking forward to having him back next week.FOLLOW OUR MAN UTD FB PAGE!
