تشير التقديرات الأولية إلى تكبد المنطقة العربية خسائر بلغت حوالي 63 مليار دولار في أول أسبوعين من الصراع الدائر الآن. وحذرت دراسة جديدة للجنة الأمم المتحدة الاقتصادية والاجتماعية لغربي آسيا (الإسكوا) من أن الخسائر، في حال تواصل النزاع مدة شهر، قد تصل إلى حوالي 150 مليار دولار أو ما يعادل 3.7% من الناتج المحلي الإجمالي الإقليمي.
