Leaked note reveals Mojtaba Khamenei's health condition, his location
ALBAWABA - As concerns grow regarding the health condition of Mojtaba Khamenei, a diplomatic note has revealed the location of Iran's supreme leader and the extent of his injury.
Mojtaba Khamenei was injured in the same U.S.-Israeli airstrike that killed his father, Ali Khamenei and six of his family members in Tehran, on February 28, the first day of war.
After surviving the airstrike, Khamenei's son was appointed as the new supreme leader of Iran on March 30. However, since then, he has never made any public appearances, sparking rumors about his health and whether he will recover.

According to The Times newspaper, an intelligence assessment indicates that Mojtaba Khamenei is unable to perform his duties and is receiving medical treatment in the city of Qom. The note suggests that the supreme leader is incapable of leading Iran due to his injury.
The diplomatic note, believed to be based on U.S. and Israeli intelligence, also reveals that Khamenei is unconscious and receiving treatment for a "serious" medical condition, the British website mentioned.
It also details the supreme leader's location for the first time. He is believed to be in the city of Qom, located in central Iran, 87 miles south of Tehran. Qom is considered a holy city in Shiite Islam.
Intelligence agencies have observed preparations for "laying the groundwork for a large shrine in Qom" with "more than one grave," suggesting that other family members, possibly including Mojtaba himself, may be buried alongside the deceased Ali Khamenei, The Times added in its report.
