During his official visit to North Korea, Lukashenko exchanged gifts with the Chairman of the State Affairs Commission of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea, BelTA reported.
Kim Jong Un gave the President of Belarus a sabre and a large vase decorated in a traditional style, featuring various seashells, and a commemorative gold coin minted to mark the Belarusian leader’s visit to North Korea.
In return, Lukashenko brought local food items such as President chocolate, Belarusian marshmallow and black bread.
However, what was not an expected gift was a VSK assault rifle.
While giving him the rifle, Lukashenko joked, "Just in case enemies appear."
