Katie Price unveils permanent tribute to son Harvey with eye-catching new tattoo as fans left divided

Katie Price has unveiled a striking new addition to her collection of tattoos.

The 48-year-old former glamour model visited a tattoo studio in Cheshire on Wednesday, where she had the tribute to her 24-year-old son created by Jay Hutton, the renowned tattoo artist best known for his appearances on E4's popular series Tattoo Fixers.

Mr Hutton shared snaps of the session on Instagram, posting photographs of the finished artwork alongside images of the former I'm A Celebrity star during the inking process at Adrenaline Tattoo Studio.

Mr Price joined his mother for the appointment, with the tattoo artist revealing the pair made for entertaining company throughout the day.

"Harvey came with Kate and had us laughing all day. What a lad!" Mr Hutton wrote on the social media platform.

The artist also shared a photograph of himself posing alongside Ms Price at the studio following the completion of the work.

The TV star opted for a large portrait of her eldest son, Mr Price, permanently etched onto her left calf.

Many fans responded enthusiastically to the new piece.

"Amazing! Love the tattoo and love Katie & Harvey" one person wrote.

Another penned: "That is excellent. And such a tribute to her son".

A third said: "Omg bet that was such a pleasure to do! That’s amazing!" (sic)

However, not everyone was so encouraging in the comments.

The monochrome design showcases a detailed close-up of Mr Price's face, rendered in black and white.

This latest piece joins an already substantial collection of approximately 40 tattoos adorning the mother-of-five's body.

Her existing ink includes a sizeable unicorn spanning her stomach, floral artwork across her bottom, and a tribute to her husband, Lee Andrews.

Ms Price also bears the initials J and H, representing Mr Price and her other son, Junior, whom she shares with ex-husband Peter Andre.

Mr Price, who was born following Mr Prince's relationship with former footballer Dwight Yorke, was diagnosed with a rare genetic disorder shortly after birth, and also has partial blindness, ADHD and autism.

The new tattoo comes amid Ms Prince's silence regarding her husband's latest legal troubles in the United Arab Emirates.

Mr Andrews returned to Al-Awir prison in Dubai just weeks after being released from a month-long detention, having allegedly been arrested once more for outstanding debts.

The self-proclaimed billionaire faces cases including an alleged unpaid car rental bill of approximately £54,000 to Rotana Star Rent-a-car, plus around £15,000 reportedly owed to a UAE legal firm.

Ms Price has yet to address her husband's second arrest publicly.
