Katie Price dealt fresh blow as husband Lee Andrews 'arrested again' weeks after Dubai jail release

Katie Price's husband Lee Andrews has allegedly been taken into custody in Dubai for the second time in recent weeks, dealing another blow to the former glamour model.

The 42-year-old businessman was detained by police and brought to Lahbab station, located in the Dubai desert, on Friday whilst attempting to gather £120,000.

His latest brush with UAE authorities comes barely a month after he spent four weeks behind bars at the notorious Al Awir prison over fraud-related matters.

Mr Andrews, who married Ms Price in January following a whirlwind romance, had been under considerable pressure in the days preceding his detention, according to sources.

A friend revealed that Mr Andrews sent a message stating: "They've arrested me. Katie might need to bail me out.

"We need to make a noise with a Go Fund Me."

The source added that Mr Andrews had grown increasingly anxious beforehand, as he struggled to secure funds he believed were outstanding.

Ms Price, 48, remains in the United Kingdom with her eldest son Harvey, 24, whilst monitoring developments from afar.

Despite the fresh legal troubles, the former glamour model reportedly anticipates her husband will be freed within approximately seven days.

The couple's rapid marriage earlier this year has attracted sustained public attention amid mounting questions about Andrews' financial affairs.

Mr Andrews' financial difficulties in the UAE stretch back several years, with documented debts totalling approximately £69,000.

One case, filed electronically in June 2025 by Rotana Star Rent-a-Car, relates to an unpaid vehicle hire agreement from 2022 worth around 266,060 dirhams, equivalent to roughly £54,000.

This is despite Mr Andrews having previously claimed to own a collection of sports cars, at least two of which he allegedly gifted to women including his wife.

A separate matter dating to January last year involves approximately 74,817 dirhams, or £15,000, owed to a UAE legal firm for what appear to be outstanding legal fees.

Ms Price is currently at home in Britain following the premiere of her Sky documentary Katie Price: Nothing To Hide this week, in which she explores her turbulent personal life and finances.

However, the arrest remains officially unconfirmed.

A spokesperson for Lahbab police station stated they had no record of Mr Andrews being held at the facility.

A spokeswoman for Ms Price declined to offer any comment on the situation.
