Kaante dispute: Pritish Nandy Communications gets Rs 2.55 crore settlement from Bombay HC
The Bombay High Court has officially disposed of the commercial appeal regarding the 2002 film 'Kaante', following a settlement between Pritish Nandy Communications and White Feather Films. As per the consent terms approved on April 21, 2026, Sanjay Gupta’s production house will pay a lump sum of Rs. 2.55 crore to PNC within 60 days. This settlement resolves a 2016 arbitration dispute that originally involved a claim of Rs. 3.52 crore. Failure to pay within the stipulated window will result in the resumption of original litigation proceedings.المصدر: Times of India | Source: Times of India
