Klinsmann junior, 29, signed for the Italian side in 2024 following a two-year stint with LA Galaxy.‌He has been a regular with the Serie B side since then and was once again named in goal at Cesena took on Palermo at the weekend.‌But his afternoon was cut short after a brutal collision saw him taken off the pitch and rushed to hospital. Speaking after the game, Cesena boss Ashley Cole said: “Klinsmann’s condition? He was taken to hospital by ambulance.‌“He suffered a cut to the back of his head and is being looked after by the medical staff, who have reassured us about his general condition. We are awaiting updates once the medical checks are complete.”After undergoing additional tests in hospital, it has been confirmed that Klinsmann has suffered a fracture in his neck.
