A mum-of-three told the Mirror how her six-year-old son has been forced to learn a game called “Sleeping Lions” at school to protect him in any terror attacks . She said it was shocking that the only way her son could be kept safe was to play such a game at his Jewish primary school where he had to learn how to hide. The 31-year-old woman was wheeling her 11-month-old son in his pram and took him to protest against Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer . As she spoke to the Mirror fellow protestors behind her chanted at Starmer: “Protect our kids.” She said: “Every day I get a pit in my stomach as I drop my six-year-old son off to school, not knowing what will happen to him that day. It's a tragedy." “In school they play a game called ‘Sleeping Lions'. They're taught how to hide in toilets or under their desks or tables - in case a psycho-terrorist attacks them. "No child, whether Jewish or not, should have to learn this. They start teaching them that aged two. My eldest is six now." The school is in the North London area. Audrey, who asked us not to use her surname, wanted to join the protest to urge the authorities ensure that all children can have a safe upbringing. The events of the past few weeks have devastated the Jewish community. As she spoke around 200 people joined a protest against the government. Much of the crowd was angry, and just like yesterday when they heckled Met Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley, they took their frustrations on anyone in the establishment. She said: “We want to be safe. We want action not words. That's it. Our kids should be able to sing a Jewish song without us having to hush them. “There is nothing we want more than to live a normal, ordinary life, that's peaceful. We ask for basic needs, we are not asking for anything extraordinary. I just what to be normal, I just want to be safe, that's it. Our kids should be able to go to the park and play normally. If Starmer had to drop his kids off like we have to do, he would soon change things. When his kids go to school they don't have to go behind iron gates and security. "Why should some of us feel we have to leave the country because they keep importing people who want to do us harm?”
