For doubles ace Jamie, however, it is just two months since he called time on his career, and he says he will have to ‘work a lot more’ in his retirement compared with Sir Andy due to their ‘different’ financial situations. In a Radio Times interview Jamie, 40, did not rule out an appearance on a reality TV show, admitting that if he could choose one to star in it would be The Traitors. The hit BBC show, hosted by Claudia Winkleman, sees contestants – either Traitors or Faithfuls – take part in a series of missions for a chance to win £120,000. But two-time Olympic champion Sir Andy, 39, has amassed a fortune thought to be around £110million compared with Jamie’s estimated £4.5million.
