2026İstanbulİstanbul Emniyet Müdürlüğü Siber Suçlarla Mücadele Şube Müdürlüğü ekipleri, nitelikli dolandırıcılık suçunun engellenmesi, şüphelilerin yakalanmasına yönelik Gaziosmanpaşa Cumhuriyet Başsavcılığı koordinesinde çalışma yürüttü. Ekipler, şüphelilerin İstanbul ve İzmir'de kurulan çağrı merkezleri aracılığıyla faaliyet yürüttüğünü, vatandaşları açık hatlar ve yurt dışından temin edilen iletişim hatları üzerinden arayarak kendilerini polis, hakim, savcı veya banka görevlisi olarak tanıttıklarını tespit etti. Şüphelilerin "Kimlik bilgileriniz kullanıldı", "Adınız terör örgütüne karıştı", "Hesabınızdan para çekildi" gibi gerçeğe aykırı beyanlarla mağdurlar üzerinde psikolojik baskı ve korku oluşturduklarını belirleyen ekipler, bu yöntemle kişileri ikna ederek dolandırıcılık eylemlerini organize ve planlı şekilde gerçekleştirdiklerini ortaya çıkardı. Çalışmaların ardından şüphelilerin kimlik ve adreslerini tespit eden ekipler, İstanbul merkezli 20 ilde düzenledikleri eş zamanlı operasyonda 73 şüpheliyi yakaladı.
