Yaşanan bu olaylar, dijital çağın getirdiği risklerle birlikte ailelerin çocukları üzerindeki gözetim ve rehberlik rolünü daha da kritik hale getirdi. İstanbul Aile Vakfı Yönetim Kurulu Başkanı Üner Karabıyık, AA muhabirine yaptığı açıklamada, olayların ekranlar üzerinden gelen büyük tehdidi görünür hale getirdiğini söyledi. Saldırıların hemen ardından toplumda kaos ve karmaşayı körüklemek isteyen birtakım odakların harekete geçtiğini, devletin ise en hızlı şekilde tedbirleri hayata geçirdiğini aktaran Karabıyık, sivil toplum kuruluşlarının vazifesinin de devletin yapacağı çalışmalara katkı sağlamak olduğunu dile getirdi. Karabıyık, İstanbul Aile Vakfının son üç yıldır sempozyum ve çalıştaylarda dijital çağda aile olmak, aileye yönelen küresel tehditler ve 21. yüzyılın getirdiği iklimde aile kurumunun karşı karşıya olduğu sosyokültürel riskleri masaya yatırdığını belirtti. Bir gönüllülük seferberliğine çıktıklarını ve bunu da "evlat nöbetleri seferberliği" olarak adlandırdıklarını aktaran Karabıyık, "İnşallah önümüzdeki hafta bu seferberlik kapsamında Aile Vakfımız gönüllü psikologları eğitime alacak. Bu eğitimle okullarımızda ailelere evlat nöbetleri nedir? Nasıl tutulur? Bunun bilimsel temelli bir açılımını yapacağız. Ortaya çıkan bu durum toplumu tedirgin ediyor ama devletimiz ve bizim gibi bu konuya ihtisaslaşmış STK'lerimiz, çözüm yollarına dair çalışmaları da bir yandan en hızlı, en etkili şekilde yapıyor." ifadelerini kullandı. Karabıyık, farkındalık sayesinde tehlikeyi tanımlayabileceklerini, çözüm üreteceklerini de belirterek, vakfın gündeminde pek çok proje bulunduğunu ve stratejik planlamalarında sorunlu ekran kullanımını azaltmaya dönük bir hedefleri olduğunu vurguladı. Zararsız oyunların üretilmesi adına bir dijital oyun yarışmaları olduğunu, bunu da gelecek günlerde duyuracaklarını ifade eden Karabıyık, şunları kaydetti: "İstanbul Valiliği ile yürüttüğümüz Ödev Evlerine devam eden öğrenciler ve ailelerine dönük bir ekran koçluğu projemiz var. Bunu birkaç ay önce başlatmıştık. Sonuçlarını aldık. Onların üzerinde çalışıyoruz ve hızlıca yaygınlaştırmak üzere harekete geçiyoruz. Masal anlatıcılığı projemiz var. Maalesef ekranlar hem anne babaları hem de çocukları, hepimizi esir alıyor. Anne babaların artan ekran süreleri, çocuklarda baskı, sıkıntı, kaygı seviyesini artırıyor. Daha sonra çocuklar bu baskı, sıkıntı ve kaygıyla nasıl baş edeceklerini bilemediklerinde çok çeşitli psikolojik problemlere düçar oluyorlar. En önemli başlık burada ülkeye olan aidiyet duyguları da olumsuz etkileniyor." "Özellikle altını çizmek istediğimiz husus şu. Evvela anneler ve babalar kendilerinin ekranla olan münasebetini gözden geçirmeliler. Ekran sürelerini kısaltmalılar ve evlatlarının, evlat nöbetlerini tutmalılar. Artık tehlikeler sınırlarımızdan gelmiyor. Dolayısıyla devletin hudut nöbeti tutması yetmiyor. Ekranlar üzerinden tehlike evimizin içine kadar geldiği için bizim evlat nöbetleri tutmamız gerekiyor. Maalesef evlatlarımızı ekranlar emziriyor, ekranlar besliyor. O yüzden ekranları da temizlemek zorundayız. Bugün aldığımız bir gıdanın içeriğine nasıl bakıyorsak, nasıl hassasiyet gösteriyorsak ekranlardan maruz kaldığımız içeriklere de aynı titizlikle yaklaşmak zorundayız." İstanbul Aile Vakfının Türkiye'nin önde gelen sivil toplum kuruluşlarıyla beraber "temiz ekran" hareketini başlatmak üzere bir çalışma içerisinde olduğuna işaret eden Karabıyık, bunu da yakın zamanda kamuoyuyla paylaşacaklarını söyledi. Karabıyık, sorunların olduğunu ancak her şeye rağmen çözümlerinin de bulunduğunu belirterek, devlet, sivil toplum kuruluşları ve ailelerle el birliğiyle karabulutları dağıtacaklarını kaydetti. Dijital oyunlara da değinen Karabıyık, "Oyun dediğimiz şey bir etkileşim ortamı. Biz bugün çocuklarımızı sokakta bazı tehlikelerden korumak için sokağa çıkarmıyoruz fakat evde ekranla baş başa bıraktığımızda tüm dünyadan gelebilecek kötülüklere kapı aralıyoruz." dedi. Anne babaların bunun farkında olması gerektiğini vurgulayan Karabıyık, "Bu yaşanan olayların örneklerini biz geçtiğimiz yıllarda Türkiye'den binlerce kilometre uzaktaki ülkelerde gördük. Binlerce kilometre uzaktaki tehlike evimizin içine girdi. Saldırganlar kendi evlerinden kendi okullarına bu saldırıyı yönelttiler. Demek ki bizim çözümü evvela evde oluşturmamız lazım. Anne babaların bu noktada bu sorumluluklarının, mesuliyetlerinin farkında olması lazım." ifadelerini kullandı. Karabıyık, sosyal medya kullanımına da dikkati çekerek, şunları kaydetti: "Tehlike sosyal medya platformları üzerinden geliyor. Biz bu sosyal medya platformlarıyla ilgili de İstanbul Aile Vakfı olarak hukuki süreçleri başlatmak üzere çalışmalarımızda son aşamadayız. Tüm dünyada Amerika'dan İngiltere'ye, Avustralya'dan Avrupa'ya sosyal medyayla ilgili hukuki süreçlerin yürüdüğünü görüyoruz. Sonuçlanan davalar var ve sosyal medya platformlarının aleyhine sonuçlanıyor. Hem de devletler birtakım düzenlemeleri hayata geçiriyorlar. Bizim de benzer düzenlemeleri acilen hayata geçirmemiz ve hukuki süreçleri başlatmamız gerekiyor. Çünkü topluluk kuralları adı altında devletlerin mevzuatlarını hiçe sayan, anayasalarını, yasalarını hiçe sayan bir yaklaşımı kabul etmemiz mümkün değil." Sosyal medya dayatmalarından çocukların korunmak zorunda olduğunun altını çizen Karabıyık, "Sorunlu ekran kullanımının farkına varıp, ekranlardaki tehlikenin farkına varıp, ekranları temizlemek ve ekranlardan gelen tehlikelere karşı çocuklarımızı muhafaza etmek mesuliyetini taşıyoruz. İnşallah bu olaylar son olur, tekrarlanmaz. Bunların tekrarlanmaması anne babaların evlat nöbetlerini hassasiyetle tutmasına bağlı. Anne babaların okulla kurdukları ilişkiyi de masaya yatırmamız lazım. Biz maalesef anne babalığı okula vekil kıldığımız bir iklimin içerisindeyiz." ifadelerini kullandı. Karabıyık, büyükşehir hayatında, bireyselleşmenin çok yoğun yaşandığı bu iklimde anne babaların kariyerlerine odaklandıklarını belirterek, "Çalışma şartları vesair sebeplerle anne babalık mesuliyetini de okula tevdi ettikleri bir yaklaşımın hakim olduğunu görüyoruz.
