'I'll never buy charity shop furniture again after what I found in chest of drawers'

Buying from a charity shop is always a gamble. However, one woman on social media has vowed never to buy furniture from a charity shop again after making a horrifying discovery . Ellie Henry, an actor based in Manchester , shared a video on TikTok in which she said she purchased a chest of drawers from a charity shop to furnish her new home, and said she "couldn't believe" what she found inside one of the drawers. The woman said she was so disgusted by what she saw that she believes it will be the "last time" she ever shops in a charity shop for furniture, as she doesn't think she can stomach another unsettling experience. Ellie then showed off the chest of drawers in question, which appeared to be perfectly normal wooden drawers. The top drawer was split into two, and the unit then had four more drawers below. When she got them home, Ellie decided she would give them a wipe down, and thought it would be a good idea to open the drawers - and found something abhorrent lurking inside one of them. Putting on a glove before opening the drawer, she said: "It is so bad that I'm not willing to touch it. No, no, no. I will not be touching that with my hands. I don't even know how I'm supposed to show you this." Carefully opening the drawer, Ellie then revealed the horror inside - a photograph of a naked man. The photo was cut off at the top, so the man's face was not visible, and Ellie used her gloved hand to cover up the man's genitals that would otherwise be fully visible in the photo. She exclaimed: "What are you doing in here?! What are you doing in my nice new drawers?! Safe to say I'm going to have to burn these. Because I don't know who owned these before me, but I don't want their vibes." Ellie further explained that there was originally a piece of paper lining each of the drawers, and the nude image was underneath this paper, so she didn't see it when she checked the furniture in the charity shop. She also said she would absolutely not be keeping the drawers, as they now make her feel uncomfortable. Commenters on the post were baffled by the bizarre find. Many said leaving the picture there felt "intentional" by the previous owners of the furniture, while others said Ellie was being "dramatic". One person said: "This feels so intentional."
