güç katan Türkiye, ilk deniz üstü rüzgar enerjisi santrallerine de sahip olmaya hazırlanıyor. "Deniz Üstü Rüzgar Enerjisine Dayalı Aday YEKA İlanı", Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar Bakanlığının resmi internet sitesinde yayımlandı. Yenilenebilir Enerji Kaynak Alanları Yönetmeliği kapsamında yürütülen çalışmalar neticesinde, Saros Körfezi, Gökçeada, Bozcaada ve Edremit açıklarındaki toplam 4 alan aday YEKA olarak belirlenirken, konuya ilişkin detay çalışmalara başlandığı duyuruldu. Açıklamada görüşlerine yer verilen Enerji ve Tabii Kaynaklar Bakanı Alparslan Bayraktar, Türkiye'nin yerli ve yenilenebilir kaynaklarını azami düzeyde değerlendirmek için çalışmalarını sürdürdüklerini belirterek, şunları kaydetti: "Deniz Üstü Rüzgar Enerjisine Dayalı Aday YEKA ilanını Bakanlığımızın resmi internet sitesi üzerinden yayımlayarak kamuoyuna duyurduk. İzin süreçlerinin tamamlanmasının ardından Türkiye'nin ilk deniz üstü rüzgar YEKA yarışmasını gerçekleştireceğiz. 2035'e kadar deniz üstü rüzgar enerjisinde 5 bin megavatlık kapasiteye ulaşmayı hedefliyoruz." Bayraktar, 15. Türkiye Rüzgar Enerjisi Kongresi'nde yaptığı konuşmada, "Önümüzdeki dönemin en stratejik başlıklarından biri de deniz üstü yani 'offshore' rüzgar enerjisi olacak. Ülkemiz bu alanda çok önemli bir potansiyele sahip. Bakanlık olarak Saros Körfezi, Gökçeada, Bozcaada ve Edremit açıklarında 4 ayrı 'offshore' sahası belirledik.
