Published: 20:12, 7 April 2026 | Updated: 20:14, 7 April 2026 Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman in broad daylight over three weeks ago. The woman had been walking along Dean Lane, in Bedminster, Bristol, when she was inappropriately touched by an unknown man on March 15.  Officers were called sometime between 10.15-10.30am and later arrived at the scene, but the suspect had already fled.  The man was described as black, in his 20s to 30s, between 5ft 6in and 5ft 8ins tall and of medium build.  He was wearing a pastel green or light grey hooded puffer-style jacket and black bottoms.  He is thought to have walked off down Southville Road towards St Pauls Church.  The woman was uninjured in the assault but was left very shaken and is being offered support by officers.  Police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a woman along Dean Lane (pictured), in Bedminster, Bristol, over three weeks ago Avon and Somerset Police are now appealing for witnesses who may be able to help their search.  The force has asked for those with information or saw anything suspicious to call 101 and quote reference 5226071636.  No comments have so far been submitted.
