شهدت مدن ومناطق الفجيرة والمنطقة الشرقية في الشارقة، أمس الأربعاء، هطول أمطار غزيرة أدت إلى جريان الأودية والشعاب الجبلية، وتجمع المياه في الشوارع الرئيسية والفرعية في الأحياء السكنية، ما تسبب في ازدحام الحركة ونجحت الدوريات المرورية في التعامل مع آثار اختناقات السير. وبذلت الفرق العمالية المختصة في الأجهزة البلدية بمدن الساحل الشرقي جهوداً كبيرة وباحترافية مشهودة في التعامل الفوري مع آثار الأمطار من خلال خطط الطوارئ التي تم تفعيلها جراء المنخفض الجوي «العزم». وأكد المهندس محمد سيف الأفخم مدير عام بلدية الفجيرة، أن فرق البلدية تعاملت على الفور مع تداعيات الأمطار من خلال الخطط الاستباقية التي
