Dubai's Global Village has resumed season 30 after staying closed for about 1.5 months due to the Iran war, as a precautionary measure. The popular destination is now welcoming visitors from 5pm to midnight daily.

Visitors heading to Global Village can avail multiple transport options. There are dedicated parking spots, in case you are driving down, or you can book one of the ride-hailing services to get to the destination.

There are five RTA bus routes from with Dubai to Global Village, as well as dedicated bus services from other emirates like Ajman and Ras Al Khaimah.

Here's everything you need to know about getting to Global Village.

Driving to Global Village

  • VIP Parking: Complimentary access for all VIP pack holders. Weekday & weekend rate: Dh200 per day.

  • Parking A: Dedicated parking available for A Sticker holders.

  • POD Parking: Dedicated parking available for People of Determination

  • Paid Parking: Weekdays & weekends: Dh120 per day.

  • P1: Free parking zone located approximately 400 metres away from the Gate of the World entrance.

  • P3: Free parking zone located approximately 400 metres from the Gate of the World entrance.

  • P5: Free parking zone located approximately 450 metres from the Gate of the World entrance.

  • Paid Parking 2: Located approximately 350 metres from the Happiness Gate entrance. Priced at Dh75 per day.

  • P7, P8, P9, P10, P11: Free parking zones accessible only on weekends, public holidays, and busy days. Located approximately 1 km from the Cultural Gate entrance, you could either use the free shuttle bus service to the Cultural Gate or a rickshaw, starting from only Dh10.

If you do not want to get into the hassle of parking, you can take a Careem, Uber or RTA taxi to Global Village.

Taking a bus from within Dubai

Five RTA direct bus routes take visitors to the popular destination, serving key departure points across Dubai. They are:

  • Route 102: From Al Rashidiya Bus Station (every 60 minutes).

  • Route 103: From Union Bus Station, passing through Al Rebat Street (every 40 minutes).

  • Route 104: From Ghubaiba Bus Station passing through Al Jafiliya Metro Station (every 60 minutes).

  • Route 106: From Mall of Emirates Metro Station passing through Al Barsha A2, Al Barsha Lulu Supermarket, Dubai American Academy 2, Classic Crystal 2 and Al Quoz, Clinical Pathology Services 2 (every 60 minutes).

The service runs from 3.15pm to 11.15pm daily, with 30 minutes of travel time.

Buses from other emirates

Ajman has resumed bus services to Global Village, announcing that three buses will run on weekdays from Al Musalla Station in Ajman to the destination for a ticket of Dh25.

These buses operate at the following timings:

  • 2.15pm - 3.45pm

  • 4.45pm - 10.30pm

  • 6.15pm - 12.30am

The Ras Al Khaimah Transport Authority (Rakta) announced a new bus service in November 2025, connecting RAK to Global Village. The service operates only on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, providing two round trips per day between RAK and Global Village.

Electric abra

Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) also provide electric abra services within Global Village, giving visitors a chance to enjoy cruising along the internal waterways of the world-class destination.

The service is provided through two electric abras inside Global Village.

Season 30 of Global Village is set to end on May 10, 2026. The outdoor destination stays closed during the hot summer months and reopens in October.
