People jumped into the water in a desperate bid to help those on board after the fire engulfed the vessel named Tequila as it was undergoing engine repairs at a pier in Ao Makham Bay on the holiday island of Phuket. Another boat dragged it into the open water away from the dock and it was then that Komphet Wanadee, 24, reportedly vanished after going under water. Authorities confirmed that no tourists were onboard but that the tour guide, Mr Wanadee, is understood to have missing after jumping from the burning vessel.
