Horrific video: TikToker Kübra Karaaslan jumps to death off a high bridge in Istanbul

ALBAWABA - A video of famous Turkish TikToker Kübra Karaaslan reportedly committing suicide by jumping off a high bridge has caused wide controversy among Turks and her fans after it was shared on social media.

Karaaslan, who closed her social media accounts a few months ago, reportedly died in Istanbul on March 23 after jumping off the Osmangazi Bridge, connecting Kocaeli and Yalova.

A video filmed by a passerby below the bridge showed a young woman, who was believed to be Kübra Karaaslan, jumping down despite attempts by drivers above to dissuade her from committing suicide.

The young influencer attracted the attention of thousands of people with her unique style and energetic posts as she used to share glimpses into her daily life on her accounts before she closed them.

Despite the news of Karaaslan's death quickly spreading on social media. However, this information regarding her suicide has not yet been confirmed.

There has been no official statement yet from Karaaslan's family or close circle. But a photo of a tomb with her name went viral online, causing speculation that she was the young woman who jumped off the bridge.
