Harry Kane's former PE teacher Mark Leadon has heaped praise on the England captain after the team's thrilling victory against Mexico in the World Cup, taking them through to the quarter-final of the tournament.
Mr Leadon told GB News: "The kind of togetherness that we now see from an England team we didn't get 15, 20 years ago. That game I think yesterday, it's one of the iconic matches for England.
"I'm thinking back in my time you think about maybe England vs Holland when we won four-one away to Germany, when we won five-one as well, and this one's going to go ranked alongside, isn't it.
"Just for the drama of it and the pressure and the stress, it was absolutely fantastic.
"But I think Harry is there, he's leading from the front isn't he? And it's great to think back that we're a little cog in his journey to superstardom."
