Gwadar Port activity revives as Malaysian ship docks
المصدر: Dawn | Source: DawnQUETTA: Commercial activity at Gwadar Port has gained fresh momentum as a major cargo vessel from Malaysia docked at the port carrying 14,629 metric tonnes of transhipment cargo, officials said on Sunday.
According to details, the cargo ship MV Riva Glory arrived at Gwadar Port with a large consignment of various commercial goods, marking another significant development in the port’s growing trade operations.
A spokesperson for Gwadar Port said the vessel transported multiple categories of trade items, which were currently being unloaded as per the scheduled plan.
Speaking on the occasion, Gwadar Port Authority Chairman Noorul Haq Baloch said the continuous arrival of cargo ships was clear evidence that the port was gradually emerging as an important hub for regional trade.
He said international commercial activity at the port was expanding steadily due to modern facilities, efficient operations and an improved logistics system.
